Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Random Sentence Generator website at randomsentencegenerator.org(the "Site"), including the main generator, all category routes, the Daily Challenge, export features and all associated pages, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Site immediately.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you" or "your") and the Random Sentence Generator ("RSG", "we", "us" or "our"), the independent operator of this Site.

RSG is an independent project and is not affiliated with any academic institution, dictionary publisher, AI company or language authority. The sentence generation engine is a proprietary rule-based system built and maintained independently.

The Random Sentence Generator provides a free, browser-based tool that builds grammatically correct English sentences locally using structured word banks and rule-based grammar logic.

The Service is provided free of charge and does not require account registration. All sentence generation runs locally in your browser with no server-side processing of your inputs.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.

Age requirement

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Site. Users under 18 should have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

By using this Site, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 13 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You will use the Site only for lawful purposes
• You will not use generated sentences in ways that violate applicable laws or regulations
• You understand that sentences are generated by a rule-based algorithm and are not authored by a human writer

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for the following permitted purposes:

Ownership of generated sentences

Sentences produced by the RSG engine are assembled algorithmically from word bank components. We do not claim copyright ownership over individual generated sentences.

You are free to use generated sentences for permitted purposes (see section 4) without attribution to RSG, unless you choose to credit the tool.

Your responsibility for generated content

You are solely responsible for how you use sentences generated by this tool. By using the generator, you agree that:

• You will review generated content before publishing or distributing it
• You will not use generated content in ways that violate these Terms or applicable law
• You understand that the generator may occasionally produce unusual or unexpected combinations because the algorithm does not apply human editorial judgment
• You will not hold RSG liable for consequences arising from your use of generated sentences

Custom word injection

When you use the custom word injection feature, you introduce your own vocabulary into the generation process. You are solely responsible for any content produced as a result of custom word inputs. We do not review, store or moderate custom word injections.

Ownership of Site content

The design, layout, code, user interface, word bank architecture, grammar rule logic, branding and all other original elements of this Site (collectively, "Site Content") are owned by or licensed to RSG and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, or commercially exploit any Site Content without our prior written permission, except as expressly permitted in section 4.

Word banks and grammar engine

The curated word banks and rule-based sentence assembly logic are proprietary to RSG. You may not extract, replicate or redistribute the word bank data or grammar rules for use in competing tools or products.

Third-party content

This Site does not incorporate third-party copyrighted text corpora. The word bank content is independently curated. Any resemblance to copyrighted sentences in existing publications is coincidental and a result of algorithmic combination of common English vocabulary.

Your exports

Sentence batches you export in TXT, CSV, JSON or Markdown format, and image cards you generate, are yours to use for permitted purposes. We do not retain copies of your exports.

This Site may contain links to third-party resources for reference purposes. These links are provided for informational use only.

RSG has no control over the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party website. We do not endorse third-party sites. Accessing any third-party site is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms.

Third-party services that may be enabled on this Site, such as Google Analytics and Google AdSense, are governed by their respective terms of service:

Generation accuracy limitations

The sentence engine is designed to produce grammatically correct output, but:

• Unusual word combinations may occasionally occur due to the nature of random selection
• Sentences are not semantically reviewed before display, so grammatical correctness does not guarantee meaningful or appropriate content in all contexts
• The funny and creative routes intentionally produce unconventional output
• Custom word injection may produce unexpected results depending on the words provided

We make reasonable efforts to maintain word bank quality but do not warrant that all generated output will be suitable for every intended use without review.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RSG and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or corruption of browser-stored collections, history or preferences
• Any harm arising from use of generated sentences in academic, professional or published contexts
• Any consequences of submitting generated content as original human-authored work
• Loss of profits, revenue or business opportunity
• Any damages arising from third-party services integrated into the Site
• Any harm resulting from Site downtime, maintenance or discontinuation

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

In no event shall RSG's total liability to you for all claims arising from your use of the Site exceed the amount you paid to access the Site, which, as the Site is free, is zero (USD $0.00).

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless RSG and its operators from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your use of or access to the Site
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Your misuse of generated sentences, including submitting them as original human-authored work in contexts where that is prohibited
• Custom word injections you provide that result in problematic generated output
• Any content you submit through the contact form or other Site features
• Your infringement of any third-party rights

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Site at any time, without notice, for any reason, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Site ceases immediately
• Locally stored data such as collections, history and preferences remains in your browser until you clear it because we have no ability to delete it remotely
• Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including sections 6, 7, 9, 10, 11 and 13

You may stop using the Site at any time. Clearing your browser localStorage removes all locally stored data associated with the Site.

Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. As RSG is operated independently without a fixed corporate jurisdiction, disputes will be resolved under the laws of the jurisdiction most appropriate to the nature of the claim.

Informal resolution first

Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at contact@aigotowork.work and attempt to resolve the matter informally. We will make reasonable efforts to respond within 30 days of receiving written notice.

Dispute resolution

If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or, where arbitration is not enforceable, through courts of competent jurisdiction.

Class action waiver

To the extent permitted by law, you waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against RSG.

EU users

If you are located in the European Union, you may also submit a complaint to your local data protection authority or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When changes are made:

• The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised
• Material changes will be summarized in a notice at the top of this page for 30 days following the update
• Continued use of the Site after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms

If you do not agree to revised Terms, you must stop using the Site.

We will not make changes that retroactively reduce your rights without providing reasonable notice.
